BNE/GC: Fridaynight fun with a bit of a twist 02-Nov-07

Postby Mr Starlet » Thu Oct 25, 2007 6:11 pm

Hey All

It's been awhile since the last Friday night fun so I thought it might be a good time start brewing the next one and possibly making it a regular thing...first friday night of the month maybe?

Anyway I'm hoping to twist this one up a bit by doing a night BBQ up at the main look out along Mt Nebo rd. We'll do the usual, met up at 7pm @ BP along Waterworks rd, The Gap, a convenient stop for supplies. Waterworks road leads into Nt Nebo rd where the sensible fun begins.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 01001&z=17

On our return trip we'll stop by the main lookout (Jolly's lookout?) where we'll setup for some snaggs, drinks and abit of chin whack.

I'm quite happy to arrange supplies for the night as long as you let me know if you're coming just so I know numbers, other than that if you feel like chipping in then a gold coin donation or two should be suffice.

Anyway let me know what you think.

Oh and bring whatever portable lighting device you have, I have two Dewalt torches but that might not be enough for everyone, a lantern of some type should be handy. I'll also be bring mossy repellant, and any other essential I can think of.

Cheers
Minh
