The next club track day is on Thursday 9 August 2007 at Queensland Raceway, Willowbank. PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE!
It will be an afternoon session 1-5pm but people will be asked to arrive at 11.30-12.00 to fill out paperwork etc so we can get on the track when it opens at 1pm.
Cost will be $75 per car and we need a minimum of 20 cars to get it off
the ground.
Once again, we want to try and keep it to MX-5's and Club members.
So if you are interested in attending let me know by e-mail at
mx5trackdays@gmail.com . We will be looking for some marshalls as well for the day so if you're not interested in going on the track but want to come out and help, let me know.
I need to know if you are interested by ASAP
Everyone driving on the day will need a valid QR license to partake. Licenses will be available from QR on the day.
Thanks
Peter

lol, nice try there, even though said 4.3 is still waiting to be fitted.
I managed it seems to run foul of one of the nastier changes to the traffic laws though, it seems now if you manage to collect 2 tickets for more than 20 over (4 points now) in less than 12 months they slug you with an extra 4 points, so all 12 points gone again.
Can't even enjoy a quick thrash round Nebo anymore, not that I would anyway, seeing as it's a public road and I am very careful to obey the laws put in place by our always well meaning and meticulously well informed politicians for our own safety, knowing full well that the instant any car goes 1 k over the limit it instantly becomes a death machine.

Back on topic.
hooray, track day.

Not likely car needs new front brake pads and I dont have a spare set of wheels for track work. Don't want to wear down the tyres I have.
Cheers

Don't let that stop you......I'm only doing it because a set of JDM poverty pack NC wheels and tyres came up for sale at MX-5 Plus. I just used the normal road tyres and wheels on the NA.

I have been twice, and both times on my old road tyres(R.I.P. GIII).
