QLD GC Friday night run 19-01-2007

Postby kitkat » Wed Jan 10, 2007 1:27 pm

Its the first one of the year!!!

For those that live under a rock and are unaware of what consists in a GC Friday night run. Its when a bunch of us fun loving MX5 owners meet up at dusk and embark on a short journey through a local set of twisty roads. We then head off to a local restaurant and dine over a great meal with great people and have some laughs.

Now unfortunatly we have run out of roads to take our adventures on so we will have to use one from the past, but thats ok cause there still fun

On the menu for dinner will be Italian... think pizza & pasta.
This will be had at La Porchetta in Burleigh.

Meeting will be as follows:
Bunnings Nerang Carpark
6:30pm for a 7:00pm departure.

All your need to bring is:
UHF Radio
1/2 Tank Fuel
Meals are normally around $15

Our route will be a reversed version of Springbrook so....
We will head through Hinze Dam, along the Advancetown Racetrack, then take a left at Pine creek road leading us to the top of Springbrook, then its another left leading us onto the downhill which will take us into Mudgeeraba. From there its the quickest way to the center of Burleigh for some Italiano.

Can those who are coming please confirm there attendance as ill need to make a booking at the restaurant.

Bugger. We're going camping the next morning and will be doing some serious preparing and packing. Sounds like another great run, and that restaurant is great too!

Grrr.

Well he had originally had it down for the 26th, but later realised it was Australia day. Well actually i had to tell him (he calls himself an Aussie) and i told him he should change it. But i guess we could see which date would be better for the majority of people...

I think that the biggest run of the year is on that day? Lochie Memorial run?

Why don't you tee up with Kam. He's a member of the BCG?
