It's time for another Dyno Day!

We are going to run a dyno day at the same place as the one at the beginning of last year, Mercury Motorsports.

It won't be restricted to just club members or just MX-5's to ensure we get the numbers.

Where: Mercury Motorsports, Unit 2, 278 Newmarket Rd Wilston

When: Saturday 7th October 2006

Time: From 8.30am (obviously we can't put them all on at once)

Cost: $55 per car (includes Lunch (normally BBQ) and 1 drink)

RSVP here or peter.steinback@gmail.com by the 23 September 2006.
If you could also let me know basic details of your car and I will compile a list of vehicles for the day.

As there is a minimum number of cars we have to pay for, I will be asking for payment by the 23rd September also to ensure we can do the day. Payment will be made into the Club account, same as the track day.

If you need bank details let me know.

Previous results and photos can be found at http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au/events/20050122/results/index.htm

Any questions, let me know.

Thanks

Peter

Anyway it's only 2.8kW's you have to find :P

Put me down for one, probably bring the Skyline wannabe.

And if its part of the Challenge, then Rhys is looking good! Speaking of Challenge, when is the Kilcoy event? Is it the 30th?

I am interested, but a little unsure as to my availability on that date...

Thats the weekend after i drive back from melbourne, so i am not sure what condition the car will be in for the day...

Either way, its a long shot, but is it a 4 wheel dyno? If so i have a friend with a B4 who would be interested...

is it a members only event? ie. non members' cars are not welcome?

i have friends (not 5 owner) who would like to dyno their cars....

thanks

I'll have to pass. I'd like to come and spectate, but the suspicious knocking noise from the engine makes me think I should give a run a miss. I think I'll go do one after I've done the engine rebuild. :)

I'm actually considering Mercury as one of the tuners for my car when the new engine goes in, so I'll probably take the opportunity to talk to them about dyno tuning.
