Ok guys,

Sorry for not giving ANY notice at all, but any hands help would be appreciated.

I have my shocks and springs ready to go in, and i need to replace brake fluid aswell. So a couple of hours work at least. Beer will be provided, and if it gets to that stage, the barby will be fired.

I would like also if you have a reliable timing light, that you bring it with, so we can sort my timing out.

Don't reply here, call 0437 545 002 as I am going outside to make a start now!

Thanks a heap in advance to anyone who can even lend 10 minutes of their time or expertese!!!

No worries guys!!

Didn't make it to the brake fluid or timing, but shocks and springs are in!!

Red and yellow go together so well, we felt like maccas after we'd finished...

Ended up getting it done with my housemate and R.I.P.MX5, a good mate from school.

Semis going on tomorrow and straight in for an allignment, ready for thursday. 8) 8) 8)

Right, bastards overbooked for their crappy apprentice alligner becasue the tradey is away today....

So Shazza has to wait till morning to get sorted... I also desperately need to change my brake fluid before i get anywhere near the track, 1. is this a 2 man long job or not so bad, 2. is it possible with 1 person and 3. how much fluid will i need to do the change?

Thanks guys!

2 people can do it in 15 minutes.
one person pumps the brake pedal then holds it down, the other gets brake fluid squirted at them via the bleeder valve (unless you have a small tube and point it into a jar, beer bottle, whatever)...

Repeat this from the furthest valve from the master cylinder resrvoir to the closest, you will need just over 500ml of fluid and don't let the reservoir go to empty.

1 person... use a broomstick or something long enough to hold the brake pedal down after you pump it, so you can release the pressure at the nipple.

or use speedbleeders, a valve which opens/shuts properly to only let fluid out but not back in, but they are in the US and i doubt you can get them tonight.

Hope it helps!!!

Option 3...
Drive it down to Sydney and i can help ya!!!

I bought a bleed kit from Supercheap. $10, but it's got a one-way valve on it so you can do one-man bleeds.
