Henri Van R normally runs his MX-5 there but it got badly hurt at QR yesterday  Henri OK except for sore wrist.

Didn't see you at QR yesterday, but I saw your car. Good day apart from that. :D

I came in to say g'day but you were pretty busy at the time so I kept out of the way and had a yarn to PT. The Audi looks good BTW.

Busy pffft more like probably crapping on with someone  Oh you saw the A4. It's a little ostentatious for me with those wheels and being so low ect, but I thought that about BRG when I bought her and learned to love her!

Did you have the tonneau on your car made locally or is it one of the ebay ones? Looks good. I plan to run one on the race car when it's finished, but it will need about a hundred holes in it to clear the cage.

Back on topic. Will try to get to Mt Cotton on the weekend.

Made by House Of MG but the headrest pockets were modified by an upholsterer nearby to my home after the style bar was fitted. The latter sort of messed it up a bit but it's only to keep the sun, bird poop, leaves, stray tigers and prying eyes from getting in when the car is parked and I don't want to bother putting the roof up. Lee Bros would probably do a good job but you'd get the best result with the plastic edge stuff from the top boot. Mine is attached at the back using ute tonneau elastic loops on the Frankenstein bolts. Don Lake has/had his fitted so that it was wedged at the rear by the boot lid.

Back to topic: Might see you at the hill next Sunday then 8)

It was Don who suggested I try to find a cheap soft top cover to modify as his was less than ideal. Seems a shame to pay $100 for a prefect one and wreck it for a plastic lip.

Sounds like it has potential :) Is anyone planning on meeting up b4 hand elsewhere ? Being new-ish to QLD I have no Idea where Mt Cotton is...

I think it will just be an individual thing. Mt Cotton is on the east side over towards Redland Bay.Directions and a map can be had here by putting in a start suburb and a finish point of Mt Cotton. Gramzow road runs off Mt Cotton Road.
