[QLD] Unnoficial Cruise, Sunday 4th June

Hey everyone,
Im organising a cruise through a couple different forums (ozMazda, Aus Convertibles Club, s2ki & accelerarion) and thought it wouldnt be complete without the guys from aus-cartalk. So anyway here are the details.

Well were heading out to Lyons Road about 150km from here, so yes expect to use alot of fuel.
Meet - Elsie Laver Park, Mugeeraba Exit West side of M1.
Time - 9:00am meet for a 9:30 departure.
What To Bring - Full tank of petrol, UHF radios. Food for our \"picnic style\" lunch (so sandwiches, chips & dip, other snack food and ofcourse drinks)
And the great driving attitude i know you all have.
The route - We'll start off with a quick warmup over springbrook, then head over to our Lunch spot on Lyons Road. We will pass through Cunungra then stop off in Beaudessert for 15mins just to break up the driving.
Heading on from Beaudessert we'll pass through Rathdowney then onto Lyons Road were we can enjoy the beautiful scenery surely to be filled with excellent photo shoot opportunities. We will stop off for our picnic lunch at the train loop lookout with the hopes that we may get to see it pass by.
After its back in the cars travelling at a calm and cautious pace through the narrow roads leading us back to the main road. We'll head back home via Rathdowney and Beaudessert but not before driving on one of the best section of roads around.
So get set for an excellent day of driving and i hope to see you all there!!!
