Hello all,

I have been contacted by the Qld WRX Club wanting to know if any of our club members are interested in attending their event listed below. They have 5-6 spots available.

Either contact myself or Dan direct.

The event is being run by Safe Drive Training.

\"LVMA\"

When - Saturday 8 April 08:30-12:30 (participants to arrive by 08:00)

Where - Mt Cotton Driver Training Centre, Mt Cotton Rd, Mt Cotton.

Details - Participants will be split into three groups on a rotating basis. The first group will participate in a mini hill climb around the top road of the LVMA (awesome fun). The second group will participate in a modified slalom event on the open LVMA surface (wet surface) and the third group will participate in a marked out circuit of cones. This event is done on the emolium treated surface which is also wet and very slippery (again, great fun). After two hours the Hill Clim event will continue, but the two courses on the LVMA will be re set for a course which will take up the full area of the LVMA.

The day is a lot of fun and allows you to experience the limits of adhesion in a safe environment.

Cost - $60.00 for all, but non WRX Club members pay $5.00 for a day licence/

Tips - Ensure you have done a full mechanical inspection of your vehicle prior to entering. Tyre pressures should be 36psi or greater.

More info? - Contact Dan Brown wrx555@iinet.net.au or phone 0402313240

No, not yet, there is another person here that has tried to contact the organiser but hasn't had any lick yet.

Edit: I stand corrected, Rhys did.

Brad and I are going. I spoke to dude today and it seems it is now full. Didn't sound like he knew what was going on. I'd just show up on Saturday if you want to play. 8)

Me and Boags both, got in early but haven't been on the forum.

Mike
PS Really great day at Morgan Park Sunday - not crowded, not too hot, short track about 46s as far as we can make out without proper timing gear.

You need a race car Mike. You certainly spend a lot of time using your SP as one. 8)

Yeah, saw you guys. I was in the red MX5, about 3rd car out. Thought it was pretty funny seeing the WRX guys and Skyline guys together, with us 'widdle mx5 guys' in the middle. Don't worry, some of our crew showed all those WRX boys up.
