I'm leaving home at 7:15 so I'll see Yawl just after 7:30.

Isn't this what the daily is for?

Still doesn't change the price nor the amount of fuel the other car uses. Daily uses almost 3 times less.

Yep good night. That wallaby had two cracks at being hit. Luckily it failed both times.

If you go up there in the light you can see how scary that drive actually is
Only real issue with the morning run aside from that would mean getting up in the morning, is you do need to be very careful of the bikes both powered and not who go up there early, often finding they do not have the skill they thought they did as they come at you on your side of the road!

Wallaby? All I saw was a little Kangaroo
Excellent run. Was surprised the Cafe at Mt Glorious was open. I'll give them a call and see if they'll be open next FOM run so we can stop there for a change.
Just a side note; please be aware of the spacing between cars. Thanks

I picked up a new Semi-Sealed beam headlight from Bursons this morning. $28 including H4 bulb. Cheap as chips. Only trouble is they only had one, so for the next week the car will have a bright left eye, and a dim right one. A bit like me on Sunday mornings.
That would be a good change to stop for coffee on the mountain.

Maybe we could strike a deal with them to stay open a bit longer every FOM with the promise of hungry/thirsty hooligans?

I don't think they'd be keen to stretch from 4pm closing time to 10pm that's a long time for only a few people
But then again you never know

Re: FIRST Friday of the month Mt. Nebo/Glorious run
I enjoyed being in the Driver seat for the fist time on my third Friday Night run. Thanks everyone for the roadside assistance. I now carry tools and an assortment of hose clips cable ties etc. This proved to be invaluable when we went for a day run to Fernvale and back. The blow of valve did actually blow of its hose. New hose clip put us back in business. Would have been a long wait for the RACQ, otherwise.
