Cheers Lachy,
Its my ability to use it on 20+ year old paint that is notoriously thin from factory that I question. I have seen them very quickly and effectively melt or remove paint in the wrong hands.
I could always say I meant to polish it back to shiny aluminium I suppose!

For those attending Dodgy Day just a reminder to keep an eye out for tailgaters when turning into my place or this WILL happen! I have a habit of indicating just after the entrance to the medical centre and start slowing down I have almost been wiped on numerous occasions.

The rolled vehicle is behind the ambulance and may still be there tomorrow morning.

I Tap brakes/flash brake lights many times and always look in rearview getting ready to accelerate further down the road

Toss up between Nick_sixx and Steampunk for the dodgy day award, you both know why :)

Big thanks to Pezchops for his magic box, turns many dodgy day things from disasters to successes!

Where else can you eat spicy chicken, smoked lamb or black eggs and tofu!

Sunday will be my own personal dodgy day :)

Thanks very much Mark & Tess.
Great to catch up again and see the boys and the toys! Very jealous.
Great to meet some new people and put faces to more forum names. Thanks for all the delicious food.
Plenty of work done on my car today. And some of it I even did myself! Learning more every time.

Remember to re torque tomorrow [WINKING FACE]

Component breakage trumps all. I did nothing... Literally, so... :P

A thousand thanks again for Magpie and crew for hosting a productive Dodgy Day. I think all of us learnt something today.

So much this!

I only popped in for a couple of hours in the afternoon, had a bit of a crack at the buggy (very pointy with fast steering), and just generally watched. Glad I made the effort to turn up, good to catch up. Chicken and lamb were both excellent.

Was a great day despite what the weather bureau was forecasting for Friday and the weekend, we only had a few light rain showers but no-one seemed to care about standing in it due to the humidity.

Please thank Tess for allowing me to finish off the smoked lamb in the oven. Normally I only do one roast at home but did two yesterday and forgot that I'd need to cook it much longer - unfortunately the heat beads in the Cobb oven had almost expired before the lamb was done. Glad to hear people liked it - not many people have tried it before and it has a unique taste.

I thought I had plenty of tools but Mark's setup leaves me wanting more (bleeding brakes with an air compressor is so quick) - and I want his garage shed too, 4 bays and a car port! Despite the size of the shed, it's full, which just proves the saying that "No shed is ever big enough."

I was surprised that there wasn't as many "lost tool" incidents as I expected.
I did a mini Dodgy Day at my place with MINX and Davex3 several years ago and still managed to lose a couple of small screwdrivers. Davex3 had a habit of putting tools down wherever was convenient at the time and not remembering where he left them (I was once like that but learned to either put tools away as soon as I'd finished with them or keep them on a tool dolly when still needed - more effort required but ZERO frustration when looking for a tool that's "not there").
Most guys brought their own tools for their jobs and borrowed Mark's tools when needed which helped with the potential tool chaos.
It was also handy that there were plenty of rattle guns available too.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!
