Think I saw the same police car in the distance late in the day but didn't have any reason to talk to us.
It was a good day out and I also had difficulty stopping at the end of the 2nd last Wivenhoe SS - only by a wheel width and rolled back prob losing a second only - and that was using plenty of brake modulation! Took 5 seconds off that time on the last run tho. That - was a hoot and the best section of the day.
Will be keen to see the times - other than SS1 and 2 where we had the intercooler piping come off the turbo (twice) until we wired the motor to prevent twisting. Engine Mount is the suspect. Launching at the drag strip where there was heaps of grip was the final straw for the mount we think.
Also - gotta add that the BSCC did a fantastic job running the day and they have a great crew of organisers and helpers to run a pretty large event. Props to them.
Cheers
Peter

Yep - plod had a case of the grumpees. Didn't like my number plate mount.
Pity it was so hot - took it's toll.
Good day otherwise!
