Road works are being conducted on Samford Road Ferny Hills near the intersection of Havelock Road. The passing lane will be closed for the duration of these road works, which will be conducted for an undetermined period.

HIGHVALE - MOUNT GLORIOUS ROAD 11:30 AM 21/02/2011
Roadworks are occurring on Samford / Mt Glorious Rd at Highvale due to road subsidence. One lane is closed under temporary traffic signal control.

It's been a bit ominous lately, each time I've wanted to go for a reccy run in the last couple of weeks, it has rained.... I think it's a sign to stay away for a while.

I haven't been in 2 weeks, it was truly awful the last time I went. Your car would bounce off an uneven piece of road or pothole and send you in any direction. The patches of gravel every few hundred meters made it especially frisky

I'll try head up there this sunday. It should be back to the way it was, or even better!
