Six hour trip? Road closures or did you go via Byron Bay?

From my place to Richlands where Alex lives is 45min, so there was 90min just getting to his place to pick him up/back home after dropping him off. The other 4.5 hours were between Richlands and Cootha, then the fun part of the night, then back to drop him off again. I left home at 6pm and got home at midnight.

Oh I get ya. Soz, I thought you meant six hours from where we left at Glorious!

I was going to say, you're not slow... Think we lost you maybe 30 seconds into the ascent.
Because reasons.

I had to slow down after about 5 minutes, Alex was getting slightly nervous. Passengers hey?

I know, right. Those F1 cars seem to go pretty fast with only one seat...

We held up a group of ...somethings for a bit, apparently they were not content to take it easy through the township. You know, where they like to put all those fancy cameras.
Because reasons.

Would that be the mob of skyline bros that we saw queued up on the side of the road? Thought they'd be catching us when I started coasting, but if you were in front of them, that'd explain why they never appeared.

That would explain it. Oh well, I'm sure they made up for it when we turned off.

If the forecast of 300+ mm of rain on friday turns out to be complete crap, I'll probably be in. Otherwise nah, cbf.

You know the insane rain and hailstorms that NSW got hit by over the last week, flashing flooding and everything? That's predicted to move north all the way to the sunshine coast, worst for SE QLD is expected thursday night/all day friday.

This is unfortunate. Let's hope that it's not as bad here as it was there :S

I'm away on the Friday so no go for me.

Forecasting suggests 80-90 mm on Thursday and Friday.

Hi fellas (and any ladies). I've been taking my 'new' mx5 up Nebo and Glorious for some early morning drives on weekends since buying it in January. Am yet to run into a single Mx5 up there! Am keen to meet up with some of you... so feel free to shout out if anyone is planning a run.

Yes, sadly this Thurs-Sat is looking like a washout. Maybe Sunday will be better.. although I'm guessing the roads may be a bit trashed .
Hope to catch up soon.
