Dunno about yours, but my MX-5 has a soft-top roof which keeps me dry if needed. :D

I have a hard top that keeps me dry too

But I still prefer a topless drive :D

Based on the latest forecast, let's call it a bit closer to the time, nobody wants to do over 300km in an MX-5 in the pissing rain. I get that, we can shift the date if needed.

Woah, I didn't realise it was scheduled this Sunday! That came up fast

I think I'm out though :( Doing an "Oktoberfest" dinner with friends on Saturday night, and I expect I won't be in the right condition for driving early in the morning.

Another time then, have a good run all! :MOCHA_LES:

Looking like I'm out too. Couple of last minute things to do before flying out on Monday. Hopefully the weather is good and everybody can have a good run.

If your doing the VIP Bavarian Corner at Oktoberfest your going to have a ball. We’ve got 6 tables booked for this Saturday( Qantas And Australia Post) on the lower podium this time round I think.
Its almost a permanent booking for us..

No, just going to the friend's place and doing it home cooked. The husband is German, so that'll lend some authenticity to it. The original plan was to go to the Bavarian Bier Cafe, but they couldn't get a baby sitter. Still, we'll be having Pig's Knuckle, Pretzels, Weissewurst, sauerkraut, and bier. Should be a good night.

We need a decision- try our luck (weathers not looking favourable :frown: ) or postponing- if the latter, I’m off work Sunday 05/11...... thoughts?

Given the forecast, I'm for postponing also.

It's a bit hard to say. The system of troughs seems to be slowly moving east but there is persistent SE airflow which is causing the rain near the coast. Could end up just being patchy where we're going.

Could always meet at Beaudesert as planned and go home if it's cr@p.

Decision at 4:00pm today?
