January 29th the "Gone but not forgotten" run: the new annual event which brings all of the club together for a start of year
celebration. It commemorates those members who are no longer with us but who in their own way made a contribution to the MX5 club of Queensland, making it what we have today. This is a day to remember and celebrate.
This annual event will involve our whole club with the 4 chapters each running their respective individual runs to a final venue where we all meet and celebrate our past as well as our coming year. This time the Darling Downs region will provide the final destination - Cressbrook Dam - outside Toowoomba.
This is a council area and does not have any cafe or restaurant on site. All lunch requirements will need to be BYO. (chairs/ picnic blankets suggested).
*Each vehicle will be required to pay $2.50 at the toll gate (admission to the dam and parking - Toowoomba Regional Council) so please ensure you have the correct change for this to ensure all vehicles access the site as quickly and effectively as possible.

Thanks JBT you are on the list
Went over the run yesterday. Lake Cressbrook is a very scenic finish spot.
New area to me but a little hidden gem.
Thanks for the rsvp

Re: Gone But Not Forgotten Run Jan 29
From the MX-5 Club of Qld: Well, El Niño is still having its effects 12 months after our very wet start to 2011 last year. Unfortunately the recent and continued rains have
forced us to cancel Sunday's Run: "Gone but not Forgotten".
An excellent decision. Bluddy rain
