Never had an engine warning light come on with any of my mx’s. This morning it did and I think I’ve solved the issue - the little pipe on boost solenoid had fallen off. Would never have found it without looking on here!
Now to cancel the warning. Is there a simple trick to do that or do I need to go to a workshop?

Re: Se engine warning light
Usually disconnecting the battery for a while does it. Otherwise a cheap OBD reader will be able to read and clear it.

Re: Se engine warning light
I'd suggest unplugging the ecu, except that those suggestions are much easier! Especially since the nuts securing the kick plate protecting the ecu are non-tamper and difficult to remove if nobody has previously accessed the ecu.
I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Thanks guys - disconnected the battery for 20 mins and it worked! Luckily I knew my radio code!
