I was driving to work this morning....stopped at the lights. Smoke began coming out around the bonnet. I pulled over and turned off the motor.

Had a look under the bonnet....no obvious fire or burst pipe. started it and checked temp gauge....it was normal. plenty of fluid in overflow tank

Closed bonnet and continued to work.....no drama

Any ideas?

It was hot. Plenty in overflow because it pushed it out of the motor when it was hot from thermal expansion.

Gauge doesnt move till the motor is cooked on NB.

Just checked radiator full....Overflow full

Had cooling system flushed a couple of weeks ago....air in system?
