Postby Revive mx5 » Sat Sep 05, 2015 2:19 pm

Ok, I haven't got an enormous amount of time to document this build as the car has to be finished by Jan 1st 2016, so

Plan for the build
- weight to be kept to a minimum
- 90's era drift styling, see BN SPORTS Fc Rx7, 326 Power, etc
- very low

THE BITS AND PIECES

DRIVELINE
- sr20det engine- 256/264 HKS cams, tomei cam gears, raised compression, Td05-18g turbo, ID 1000cc injectors, etc etc
- OS Giken twin plate
- 350z 6speed with my custom bell housing and shifter
- driveline services tailshft
- Nissan R200 4.3 diff, hi volume cover, locked centre
- Nissan s15 rear end geometry
- s13 Power FC Dejectro (no AFM)

FRONT END
- Toyota Ae86 front fully adjustable base adjustable struts
- FD Rx7 calipers, Wilwood sprint car full floating disks, my own custom alloy hats
- sprint car torsion bar sway bar
- mx5 steering rack
- Toyota Echo EPS (electric power steering), with aftermarket controller
- custom steering arms, control arms and tension arms

REAR END
- full adjustable struts (all alloy- light weight)
- sprint car torsion sway bar
- all adjustable rear arms

BODY
- tube frame front and rear, integral roll cage
- tubed rear (height)
- raised gearbox tunnel to fit big ass 6speed
- 20mm ride height
- motor moved rear wards about 250mm
- full Arios body kit
- big steel arches
- hardtop solid mounted, Lexan rear screen
- stripped and gutted doors
- and other stuff

WHEELS
- Epilon Southernway mesh 15" x 10" fronts, 195/50/15
- Epilon Southernway mesh 15" x 11" rears, 205/50/15 (3x pairs)
- SSR MKll 15" x 10" fronts
- SSR MKll 15" x 11" rears (3x pairs)

Purple AE86
- motor- s14 SR20det, cams, gears, injectors, HKS turbo
- power fc ecu
- os twin plate clutch
- R32 skyline gearbox
- tarago diff 4.3 locked
- s13 front coil overs
- custom trd rear coil overs
Etc etc

I have the magazine article somewhere, would probably be easier to scan it, the 86 was great but made way for my house
