Zabinskii's High Comp VVT Na6
so, I've posted a few times on here before but nothing really about my car other than a few small details so here i go with a mroe in depth review about my car and my plans/ current workings on the tree frog.
Names Paul.
19 as of next month,
second mx5, had a white ADM na6, did a few things to that, fixed it up sold it off.
wanted to move on,
test drove a few other cars, Bmw's mainly looked at the e46 330ci, too boaty. and the car just felt, eh.
nothing else really rocked the boat that much,
saw a listing for another Na. BRG in colour, tan top, and hard top, and no real description,
went up to brisbane to have a look at it,
owner didnt know too much, just needed it gone, took it for a test drive and fell in love,
after a deposit was paid, has a really detailed look,
had Cusco coilovers and didn't know what kind of rims were on it, thought they were some replicas or some other not so light rims, turned out to be some ssr rs-8's!
and exhaust, later on i realised the car was alot more rev happy than my last mx5, suspected a lightweight fly wheel, pulled the clutch do replace, it, what do you know, a light weight flywheel!
had a few minor issues that needed fixing, fixed them all up and now im enjoying it.
along the road i had some fun with the interior and did my own door cards, red strap is also the door handle, opens and closes the door,
also installed central locking so i dont need a lock on the inside of the door.

Re: Money pit V2.0 Na6 with NB8B running gear, and more.
as you can see i slowly bought a few things for the car,
swapped my OEM mirrors for some KG works mirrors, couldnt be happier with the aesthetic change they brought about to the car.
and added some white bits,
along with yellow headlight tint due to headlights being really bluie creating alot of glare off street signs, tint eased it up a bit. and i didnt mind the look of it.

Re: Money pit V2.0 Na6 with NB8B running gear, and more.
brings me to the nb8b part,
i enjoy the 1.6 greatly, however im searching for a bit more power at the wheels for a decent price,
funnily enough,
an nb8b was up at auction and i had a limit in mind,
car sold for under the limit and it came home with me the next day, in the horrid weather

current stage of the nb,
Ready to drop the subframes tomorrow and rid of the shell.
anyone want an nb8b shell? no damage to the body other than tiny bit of surface rust in the tyre well,
stat writeoff, perfect for track spare ;)

Love the door cards Paul.
I put up your photo in my build thread not long after you finished these as one of the jobs I want to do to mine down the track.
Looking forward to seeing how the 1.8l swap goes.
Luke.

You will be happy with that purchase. My engine is 85mm bore, almost went 85.5 but could not find a suitable block.

Haha yeah I hope so, I'll see how I go with getting my head ported and valve springs and sub lifters in the next few weeks
