Edzew the NA6

Hello all, I have recently bought an NA6 in South Australia for $4,000 with 250~kms. Everything was stock which was nice for a change.
I plan on building it for a daily and I love aero so i'm gonna build splitters and what not in the future and if it gets defected well just rinse and repeat.
Here's the day I bought it, bad pic but you all know what they look like.
The first decision I had to make was whether I wanted coils first or wheels n tyres, long story short I ended up with coils.
I choose Megan Racing because they were the cheapest brand name coilovers I could find. They have everything I was after.. height and damper adjustable.
The next thing I wanted was a new deep dish steering wheel because the MOMO that came with my car was 320mm and if you pulled down on it, it would bend so that had to go.
So, then I bought an OMP Deep Dish.
The next waste of money was going to be wheels and tyres. I looked around a bit and decided I loved the look of Bronze Rota Grid V's.
Now everyone is always complaining about quality and what not but the way I see it, Rota's are VIA and JWL approved so how are they any different. I'd rather pay $800 for the same look then $2000.. anyway. Next was tyres, I have been looking at various semi slicks for a while and I was fairly set on AD08's but after going to buy them it turns out they are in back order and will take about 3 months to come in. So I went and bought a set of KU36's in 205/50 from Melbourne for $130ea compared to $180ea in Adelaide.
The tyres came after 1 and 1/2 days which I was pretty stocked about so I just kept looking at them until my wheels arrived.
That day finally came, the day I got the message I could come pick up my wheels. So I got them and drove to the tyre shop dropped off the tyres n wheels in my mum's X-Trail ^.^
I came back in the MX to pick them up and surprisingly they all fit in the passenger side aaha.
Got home, raised coils abit, put wheels on, leave garage and that's when the rubbing starts.. on every guard around every corner, fml. So we came home and got the hammer out and gave the guards a good smack and we thought we were good but no, turns out you need to take out the inner lining from the front. Anyway after a 30min job turned into a full days job they are on and shits mint.

Later that week, some mates and I went for a drive to Hahndorf and boy oh boy do these tyres feel amazing, you basically have endless amounts of grip on the street. They're also very forgiving, for instance, if you mistake a corner and quickly need to take a tighter line, you just turn and they will hook up.
E36 325 up front with AD08 semi's and then WRX in front of me on Goodride semi's and since my BMW friend has straight pipes and the WRX being a WRX I could hardly hear my own car revving after that I definitely needed an exhaust, just to make some sound ahaha.
I found a guy on Facebook called NDR Fabrication, he does stainless lobster back welding so I thought I would give him a shot and it was the right one aha. I just bought a eBay spec muffler and he welded a 2"-3" cone to a lobster back into muffler and lobster back out into a straight pipe exiting in 3" stainless. I was purely going for some sound and looks because I cant see the point in spending 1k+ on a full system to only get 10-20hp, just my opinion.
I was very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend.
The next thing I wanted to do was cut my rear bar, inspired from Charlie's MX.
I missed this step of measuring and marking and masking.
Remove it.
Cut it. Put it back on.
The bumper support then needed cutting so I removed it and cut it with a jigsaw and now it's finished.
This now the current state of my MX.
I have recently bought an OEM Front Lip and FD Style Side Skirts, just awaiting on delivery.
My plans now are to build a front splitter.
