Hi guys and girls thought I'd better pop in here and say hi .
Ok so here goes after my buddy bought an na6 last week I got the bug and went and bought one straight away too. The car is a 93 model stock as a rock with some super low Kay's albeit with paint not exactly to be desired for, although the body is dead straight.
So I have a few plans up my sleeve this week and a few changes will be had since picking up the car on Friday. I will post all up for everyone to see this weekend so stay tuned .

Interior is neat and tidy although it does need a vacuum.

Will get some wheels and coilovers for it etc and go from there.
Thanks for reading guys.

Looks like a tidy base to start from. Is that some sort of factory(?) front body kit/lip?

Well there you go I knew it wasn't the stock bumper but I didn't know who made it . The car also has the side skirts to match.
Thanks for that.

If it's still in good condition, that Racing Beat stuff is probably worth a decent amount of dosh.

The racing beat stuff was in great nick with only a few tiny marks on the lower of the front bar. I'm up to a little over a week of ownership now and still cannot fault the car at all it really is brilliant.
I should also mention that it will most likely cop a turbo very very soon!

Ok so here is what I promised last week. I have done all the work myself apart from the physical painting parts .
Last weekend I fitted the car with a new set of BC br racing coilovers with slightly changed spring rates to suit my needs.

Here is how she sat afterwards , thanks to the guys at just jap for hooking me up with a set on the spot .

I then rang my buddies from cartel Aus about a set of 15x8.5's for the car. So the next day at my door these showed up 15x8.5 +10 offset. It may take a little work to make these fit but it will be ok. I then had them wrapped in toyo proxes cf1 195/50's they looked the goods so on they went for a test fit.

They hit the guards pretty bad so I got the guard roller out to help tickle the guards so we had no more scrubbing. Also had to slightly modify the front section of the side skirts to be able to get full lock back.

After that I wound the coilovers down some more and gave the car a good turn to make sure nothing rubbed. All was well but all that guard stretching had damaged the paint on the guards so I decided f&$k it lets paint the whole thing. So I started pulling it apart.

[
As the soft top was slightly hazed on the window I decided to get another one while I was at it. But then realized why not get a rollcage too . So once again it was done I test fitted before the car is painted.
Picked up an agi 4 point cage with cams cert.

The wheels again.

I also picked up a new stereo setup to really bring the car up to scratch with everything else.
Alpine type s 6.5" splits with 6x9" going behind the seats and hidden into the floor panel. Also will put a small amp in to help the system along.

Ten decided I don't like the reflectors in the guards so I shaved them off.

Nearly ready for paint .

Things have been really moving along in the only 7days of ownership.
I also pulled out the alarm system weighed in at 3kg and required the central locking system.

The colour has started inside all the panels and doors and the rest of the car will be in the booth today for finishing off.
Here is a quick peek at the colour I've chosen to paint the car. It's factory BMW colour with a slight modification to the mixture.

Thanks again for reading boys and girls. I will post up another update very soon.

the pictures of alarms/imobilizers wiring just keep getting worse and worse haha.
As long as you have it pretty low and cambered, colour and wheels should look good

Haha thanks guys sadly I do this to pretty much all my cars and they end up as weekenders. But I'm adamant that this will stay as close to what I want for weekends in the hills , trackdays and the occasional hill climb meet.

@TTT - that anchorman thing was bloody hilarious. I was scrolling through from the top thinking the exact same thing and then I came across your pic. Thanks for the laff.
Car looks great btw, can't wait to see the new colour on the whole car.
