Ceptor's NA6

Postby Ceptor » Fri Aug 09, 2013 12:50 pm

Hey guys,

Just recently jumped onto the MX5 bandwagon, here is what I have:

1991 NA6 manual

-Short shifter with Trust gear knob
-Blue soft top with glass window and demister
-Nardi copy steering wheel
-BC coil overs
-15x8 +25 C28 reps painted blue pearl
-195/50 Falken Ziex 329 all round
-Slotted and grooved/drilled rotors all round
-Front lip, skirts and rear bar lips
-Stainless roll bar (will sell and replace with CAMS approved roll bar

I’m going to fix all the body work and give it a respray to freshen it up. A few other bits and pieces need doing just to tidy it up and have it exactly how I want it. It’s an absolute ball to drive. Probably going to replace the BC's with Tein coil overs, put a bobtail spoiler, maybe down the track a different set of rims as well.

Cheers monty, it's hard to see in those pics but the wheels are actually a metallic blue to match the blue soft top.

The 5 also got some love and a lot of driving across the weekend, I done around 600kms in it across the weekend which included a 1am run down to Macquarie Pass haha. I installed a stereo as there was nothing there at all and I love my music, also in the middle of replacing the open pod with a CAI I picked up from MX5 Mania.

Me and a mate run Connor Motorsports and since riding in my car he has just bought himself a MX5 as well, we both come from a Commodore background but have decided we needed a change. Check out our Facebook page to see what we get up to. https://www.facebook.com/connormotorsports

Cheers man, the day after I bought it the weather turned to sh*t, it was windy and raining which is definately not convertible weather haha. But now we are having nice sunny days perfect for cruising around

Done another natio run last night cause I was around the area, going to have to raise the front up as the front lip copped a bit of a hiding across some of the bumps and crests. Here are a few more picks from across the weekend.

Cant go much lower because of my driveway :(

Gives you a rough idea of what colour the rims are (blue with purple pearl)

Hey Ceptor, nice ride!

I like the blue rims matching the top. And you're right about wanting that chrome roll over bar gone!

You seem to like your Nasho runs. Are you from around the shire or south Sydney? You should post a shout-out next time you're heading in there for a run.
