The first thing I have modified on this car is the intake.
I purchased a K&N Typhoon cold air intake from one of the member, it is beautiful and sounds sooooooo good.
When I am happy with the intake and wondering how many horse power does it increase, I found a bad news about my intake. Because the intake does not come with the heat shield, so it actually sucking the heat from the header.
To make it become a truth CAI, I decided to go and find a panel beaters for a custom heat shield. Happyly he said he can make it, sadly it cost about $400....Can you believe that=.=
So, I told myself, I have to create something like every other member does in this forum, and I made my first move - Homemade intake shield.
After so many hours, many fail attempts, many times in and out Bunnings, I finally succeeded in making my virgin heat shield for my K&N Typhoon cold air intake.
However this is just a stage one, I am waiting for more parts to come in next week, then the heat shield will be stronger and more heat resistant.
