I got a RWC from a Mazda dealer with a defect item of "RO/87304".

I can't seem to work out what this is referring to. It doesn't seem to follow the format of a standard mx5 diagnostics code.

Can anyone help or have experienced something similar?

Maybe it's an RWC specific code. Alternatively, maybe it's a Mazda Technical Service Bulletin number as it's similar to some of the recent ones: http://www.miata.net/garage/tsb/

It turned out to be just a job number for audit purposes, which shouldn't really be listed under defects.
