Hey guys, this is my first build.

Here's a little rundown on what's happened so far.

Purchased the car in September from a used car dealership for $11000 inc. stamp duty/ rego etc.

The car had 133000kms, full service history and receipts. It had 2 previous owners, both female. The car came with 17" no brand rims that I got rid of ASAP.

That night I purchased some Rota RB in bronze, BC BR coilovers, GV style PU front lip, kuhmo ku31's on sale for $89 each.

Late September they arrived.

Coilovers were in that night thanks to some help from a few of my housemates.

A few days later my rims finally arrived, these took the longest because they were from WA.

Talked to some of the guys at Fatfitment here in Brisbane and they sent me to a guy at Beaurepairs to get the tires stretched and align the wheels. Which were done at a great price!

So the coilovers were in, wheels were on and I was happy with that for the meantime, the lip sitting in the garage teasing me.

Early October I booked in for a 2" stainless steal mandrel bend catback exhaust in Slacks Creek. I was very satisfied!

Mid October I was finally ready to chuck the lip on, had a mate to help me align it as we attached it, very fast job!

It was sitting nicely but I wanted it to sit a little lower. So late October we adjusted the height of the coilovers. I dropped it roughly an inch.

This is how it sits currently and I have more plans in the future, will definitely be adding to this thread!

Thanks!

Was that "Right price exhausts" at Slacks Creek?

Sure was! Recommended by my friends workmates at High Power Racing just down the road.

Yep thought so. I had a new system done by them on my 4x4, and now saving for a new one for the 5. They've quoted me about $950 for Hurricane headers, high flow cat & sports muffler all 2.25". pretty good price I reckon.

Oil change done yesterday. Had a lot of fun trying to move myself around under the car! Was a quick and easy job!

If anyone is wondering what oil I used, it's Nulon 15w 50 street and track high performance engine oil.
