Went to the king edward park hill climb yesterday for the first time. Kind of a sketchy track to do with about 3 mm of front pads left but still fun. best time of the day (3 runs) was 48.3 which put me in like 58th out of 73 or something.

I got my new set of 6uls 15x7.5 the other day and a new set nitto 555. Have to wait and see how the nittos handle the track...

Currently run the same tyres and have found them to be a good value street tyre, but nothing special down at Marulan, would have much preferred the NT01s the car had on it previously for that day.
Makes a good drift tyre
King Edward looked like fun, but that uphill left hander with the bump in the middle looks like a right bastard of a corner! Can see me doing some hillclimbs next year.

Updating this for Wade. He works too much.. Sucker
Car now has a new bottom end as the search for more power happened. Nearly 20,000ks on the rebuilt standard engine with zero issues we felt confident we could put together something better.
The car now has 79mm 10.6:1 Supertechs with Forged Rods and ACL Race Bearings. All Balanced beautifully. Mild Porting on the head with 272 JUN cams. They are not crazy, with only 9.5mm Lift. Next stage would certainly be to get more TESTOSTERONE Camshafts in with Solid Lifters. NITRODANN Coolant Reroute NITRODANN Intake XForce Headers RoadsterSport Exhaust GSLENDER DIYPNP Megasquirt Yellowspeed Dynamic Street Coilovers Torsen 1.8 4.3 6UL 15x8 YOKO AD08R
The Megasquirt has been fun to learn. Grant helped get the car up and running and the Noob Niggles we where having. Thanks Mate! Since then we have been tuning it ourselves and just recently put it on a Dyno to check it was safe before its first Trackday. It made 84Rwkw on a Hub Dyno. Huge improvement we felt over the fresh stock engine on Manias happy dyno saying 73Rwkw. Only thing the Dyno Operator recommended was to add just a little more fuel up top for safety. We also pulled some timing for giggles in the midrange and actually increased power so there is more to go when time and money allow. Also shows that more timing is not always more power.
Wade finally had a chance to get the car to Wakefield for the first time in a long time. Hoping with the new setup that he could get it into the 15's at least. Was a sunny day at Wakey but with strong headwinds up the straight.
Managed a 1:13.9 and with more time to make up, Wade was very happy!
Please constructive Criticism only!! But any tips on going quicker would be much appreciated i am sure!!
