Finding NA6/8 markings

At the risk of sounding
Where do you get the NA6/8 from is it the last didgit of the VIN/Chassis no if not where is it located

JDM Eunos Roadster VIN contains NA6CE for the '89-'93 1.6L, & NA8CE for the '93-'97 1.8L, however, ADM VIN doesn't. Here the ADM Sep '89-'93 NA6 (1.6L) VIN starts with JM0NA30610010XXXX or JM0NA30620010XXXX, & the Sep '93-'97 NA8 (1.8L) VIN starts with JM0NA30P300100XXX; that JM0NA30P400100XXX; or that JM0NA30P500100XXX. NA6 B6 engine number starts with B6 & NA8 BP engine number starts with BP.
