Now the majority of the build is completed I thought it would be time to introduce Evill II.
We sort of. Boyracer actually did a few months ago but he disappeared. The following pics explain why. Evil II is named as this is the second MX5 SE to leave the Boyracer stable and head to Victoria, the first being Mrs B's Evil. Evil left Sydney as a prepared race car, however Evil II was stil a road going car, although had a few parts missing. Below is a bit of a summary of the last couple of months. Obviously there is allot you can't see and there were plenty of very late nights and blood, sweat and a few tears........
As he was when I picked him up from Sydney

And home sweet home after 11 hours (Thanks Dale for donating the hard top
)

Genuine

Just the heat/air cond left to come out

Cage nearly done

Time to paint

And some more paint

There was allot more work that went into this then you would imaginn

Made door cards to clear the cage

The office

Ready for some hot laps

Cooling down

Showing off

So after 2 months of hard work he finally hit the track. Overall a successful outing with just a little bit of remedial work to do. From here on it will be working on weight reduction, car setup and most importantly........driver education.
