I couldn't resist getting another NA6.
You can call it luck or fate, but I seem to have stumbled on the best kept NA6 I have ever seen.
Bone stock with nothing else but genuine parts and full service history from the local Mazda dealership and only 108,000 on the clock, I simply couldn't resist.
So here we are. Welcome to my garage thread. Here you'll hear about anything and everything I do with the car.
I like to keep modifications light and modest and I like to do them myself when I can.
Look forward to meeting you all.
Cheers, Felix

Thanks Cheyne, wassup and zero - I think it was a rare find ... actually, I thought it may be good to upload this picture of the first time I saw it. To give you an idea, the car's was kept under a cover, within a locked up parking spot, within a secure apartment complex garage. I almost bought it just for that.. haha.
Alex, I'm counting down the days, when is it exactly?

Now you NEED to paint the tyre lettering white too (OK, maybe you don't NEED to do it, but I reckon it would look cool).

Great thread and pics, Felix. Glad to see another 'like new' old NA being cared for and modded modestly. Keep it looking original or at least keep the mods reversible!

Lokiel, I agree that would look awesome but a little hard to pull off... also my tyres are Eagle Venturas right now - not something I wanna highlight haha.
Thanks Ben, anything is reversible, just how much it costs to reverse it is the big one to think about !

Got the 5 lowered today with the springs I bought for my last NA6 but didn't get to install until now.
Also installed a pod filter, actually a lot easier than I thought, you can get an adapter at supercheap auto for about 14 dollars. I used a spare bracket to keep it in place by bolting it to the bottom half of the airbox. I'll get it secured with legit brackets after my next trip to bunnings i think.
Please excuse the mess.

Headed out to MDTC yesterday morning as I had taken the day off for my birthday. Just me and an old skyline the whole day. My first time at MDTC and I think I learnt more there than all my times at Wakefield because I was free to experiment and didn't have any other cars to affect my driving... the instructor also gave away a few tips here and there so I'm keen to get back on it later this month (24th), equipped with a new lap timer that I have just bought but didn't get to use this time around.
But anyway, you're not here to listen to me yammer on, here's some of those experiments gone wrong.
