Hey guys,

I replaced all my top end oil gaskets in my NB8 and thought there was a CAS at the back of the rocker cover but seems the NB8 has an optical at the front.
So now I have a high-temp rubber o-ring that replaces the factory unit which apparently goes hard and brittle (and why i wanted to replace it).

Mazda said they didnt sell the o-ring by itself and if you wanted it you would have to buy the whole CAS for ~$200
I got this seal from Trans Seals and it cost me $5.

My mazda spare parts dealer here had plenty of cas o-rings.

Part number is 9954-10-3801.

Yeah I rang Melville Mazda and they had no listing. They then rand their head office or something and still couldnt find a listing.
This could have been that they were looking against the parts for my 2000 NB8A...

Regardless I have one now but dont need it so its up for grabs, anyone from Perth want it or it is off to spikes.
