Matt's red '93 NA6

Hi, i would just like to start out by showing everyone my latest mx-5, a '93 na6.
When i picked it up it was stock apart from some aftermarket tail lights (the standard ones were in the boot), it wasn't long before I replaced the standard lights and upgraded the head unit and speakers.
The speakers were completely stuffed after 18 years of use and the head unit found a new home in my (soon to be my fathers) '90 Eunos Roadster V-Special. These are some random shots of the two.

Congrats on your purchase, and welcome to the forum. What prompted you to buy another NA6 and get rid of the V special?

It was sort of dads doing, I had planned on playing with it but while talking with him oneday I decided it was, IMO, a bit too good/special to play with so I sold it to him and got the red one. I know that in his hands it will be looked after but I'm not 100% sure mum likes the idea, dad drives her crazy sometimes either talking about his plans to basically restore it or him looking for parts...

quick update

i have installed a new head unit and speakers and last week i bolted on a set of red centred MS-03s with 205/50/15 Toyo R1Rs and since the factory alloys were just sitting around i put them on my Alto and they are a tight fit, just need to put narrower rubber on to stop some rubbing...
i will take some picture hopefully in the next few days and post them up here...

Since i have plans to take the 5 away on holidays with me i decided to put all new pads and rotors on since they squeeled like all hell, but like everything else, it didnt work out the way i planned... turns out the left rear caliper had ceased and was no doubt causing the squeeling, and because i dont do anything by halves, its ceased in the pivot point (where it swings up to change pads) and also the in the piston itself. so all that is left to do now is find one and have it installed by next sunday and all will be good...
