Interesting youd do that before cams, compression, portwork and suspension.
What ecu are you running?

Running and Adaptronic. Current engine has reground cams in it now, but note the ITBs are sitting on a spare engine. This is getting a major head job rods, 11:1s and 288 Marahas with the other fruit. I just want to get the ITBs on the car, fitting nice and working properly and we'll get the new engine in maybe November depending on how we go with time.
That and I'd like to get the suspension sorted before the engine also. There's so much time lost around Wakefield because it wallows all over the place. The Neovas help, I did a 1:16.1 on the Achilles tyres in the wet and a 1:16.3 on a damp track on the Neovas, so I'm hoping it'll at least go 13s with the same power and decent mechanical grip. Still has the full interior, power steer etc. Wife drives it daily.

Re: Our NA8, ITBs ready to fit
all makes sense now.
Good to hear, another modified n/a daily to compete with.
I really want bigger cams. If I was to swap id go huge, bigger than the maruhas, somewhere a little north of 300 like my ae86, but my current cams will love boost with a little overlap dialled out on the gears, so they stay for the long haul.
Staying full weight?
Should be a good fair fight.
