New Owner with a few Questions

I have a few questions about the car I have owned for several months.
It’s a 92 Eunos import NA6 V-Special in BRG with about 130,000 km on the clock. It runs very well and has no major issues.
1. I have noticed that when the car is at idle (approx 850 RPM) if I press the clutch in , no change in RPM, if I then select a gear the RPM increases by about 200 RPM. Is this normal and why does it happen.
2. After parking the car overnight or for an extended period of time, soon as you start to reveres I get a groaning sound from the left rear. I’m not sure if it’s a binding read caliper or bearing noise. The noise only lasts about 1 tire rotation and disappears soon as you drive away but every day as I start to reverse out of the driveway its back again. Any ideas what this could be as the mechanic says its nothing to worry about ??
3. My car runs clean through the rev range however I have to push it real hard to hit 6000 RPM is this normal as the thing sounds like its going to explode if I attempt to go any ware near the redline of 7000 RPM
