Bought this last week! Saw it, booked a flight to Sydney and drove it back in one day in time for work :shock:

Started at just under 136k, it's now got 136,845 on the odo.

I'm loving it so far. This is my third NB (second NB8B), the swaybars and coilovers make the car feel a LOT more stable around corners.
The tyres are ordinary touring ones though, the grip is not all that great.

Too many mods to enter the Clubman group though, I'm thinking removing the intake and sway bars... but time will tell

Goodies that came with it:
Tein SS coilovers
Whiteline Sway bars (F&R)
Mania enlarged intake, sounds great
Alarm (finally I feel somewhat safe leaving the top open, not sure if it has a proximity sensors though)

What I've done so far:
Installed the style bar I bought from Randy
Installed Alpine bluetooth head unit (bought AFTER I got a fine for using my phone :cry:

)
Took it for some spirited drives

What I'm going to do:
Wear out the current rubbers (Falken ZE912) so I can get new ones :mrgreen:

Clear indicators/reflectors
Lift up the rear a bit, it's a bit too close on some driveways
Install a grille, something subtle
Transfer the NSW rego
Take it to the track!

The leather seats look interesting, too.
Is it a factory option or a retrim?

I'd be interested in your own 'NB8B buyers' guide' style tips of what to look for in such a car.

PS Sorry to hear about the fine, but illegally talking on a mobile in a MX5 would be *very* obvious to any police on the street!

is this the one from OLYMPIC PARK in sydney? (possibly homebush area)

I looked at that car he wouldnt drop the price he was asking $15k BACK then.. (few months ago) those are DEFI seat covers (super perfect fit pretty much retrimmed).

How much u end up picking that up for?

Whew! Three "for sales" within 10 months! It seems to have increased in value during that short time despite some bits being taken off it :lol:

The question is, why is it being sold so often? As the owner of a white NA, I gotta say I do love the white NB with red seats!

It's no longer the car called Monda. It is now is in the process of being turned back to a standard car with a few subtle mods.
It will be Scooby's blond girlfriend. He needs a partner. Wifey doesn't quite see my reasoning but Ive always wanted a white NB and it came up for sale (kind of) without an engine and I just happen to have a spare engine looking for a home. Nathan offered me some nice suspension and a hard top for a good pice so it all just fell into place. It was meant to be.

Monda lives on. Better, stronger, faster than before. The engine is being rebuilt with forged internals and transplanted into Nathans other white NA race car. It will be a friggin rocket ship.
