bought the car with original 118000km on it power steer and air body has been [painted b4 and was not preped properly and has crazy cracks and clear coat peeling just started pulling all the rubbers etc off ready to drop down to a painter mate whos going to strip it back to metal and respray it for me, time frame should have back in about 3 weeks, i can paint it myself but i wont have the time, if i get 3 days off to strip it i will do it myself, i will add updates

it also has a small running problem it starts but wont rev it dies and wont idle it dies it feels like fuel and i think i might need a new fuel pump any ideas to trouble shoot this?

The spark plug leads could be on the way out.
Deleting the centre brake light is probably not legal and a bit on the dangerous side.

If you have yet to sort out the running problem, fuel quality might be a good start, fresh fuel and a cup of meths (it will absorb any water in the system and then burn off).

ok boot lid rear light is all welded up, so all looks smooth, i can get the car to start but it runs for abour 7 sec then stops like it loses fuel, somtimes you can get it to rev to 4k but same thing it stops after starting after about 7 sec, i took the fuel pump out and switched it on its pumping fuel, i checked the air filter replaced the plugs took the injector connectors off and put back on, im starting to run out of ideas, any ideas?? sounds like fuel hey?????? it doesnt miss or back fire or run on so i rulled out timing or spark issues, has to be fuel, is it safe to hook up an external fuel pump see if thats the problem??

Might you be able to run the pump out of a fuel churn? taking into account that it seems to be working. Do not discount the crappy fuel thing, I recently purchased a 2 year old BMW motorcycle that had enough water in the tank to swim in.
