As most of you would know Wendy and I purchased Slammer's car "Scooter."
So last Friday Grump and I set off to go and get the car from Sydney, long story short it took forever, 22hrs on sat, but finally I got home. Sunday was unloading the car, taking all the gear supplied with the beast, all the stuff Steve had removed etc.
Now Scooter lives where our Clubman was, under cover at last.
Now the plan is to track the car but it needs to be registered in Qld. So it will be pulled down, any repairs needed will be done and the car blue plated for mods.
My first job was to find out why it didn't go and buggar me we found the butterfly shaft had sheared , but the screws thankfully had stayed in the shaft.
Next job was the front end and brake inspection. Stuff me how Steve managed to do such good time with a bent upper control arm and rooted bushes
So thats how much I done so far, I'll keep everybody up to date on our progress.
