I second Amanda's comment about the name "Sneakers". I love it. Though I'm not so sure I believe you that it was your wife who named it.
She looks great, congratulations. I too just picked up my 94 NA8 last month (31st Dec) in Brisbane. It seems a few of us have been acquiring NAs.
Are you interested on selling the front pair of mudflaps?

Haha, awesome looking car. I also have a white NA which gets parked next to my Dad's VE HSV on the driveway. It is really a sight to see them parked next to each other. As much fun as the brutal acceleration of the HSV can be nothing can beat the enjoyment you get from driving an mx5. The thing I've found is that the mx5 is fun even at normal speeds where you really have to do stupid things in the HSV to have fun in it.

Which may be why there seem to be more people driving like a bit of a spanner in an HSV than an MX5

Do yourself a favour and grab a new set of headlights whilst your at it, it made a huge difference to my NA!
Can get them from most car shops, 7" rounds but take one of yours in with you as there seems to be a few different mounting points on some of them. I found 2 different ones whilst doing my upgrade.

I'm looking at these parabolic type headlights for my NA. They cost AU$88 delivered from eBay (Aust).
Or these headlights with Halo parkers from eBay US for US$89.

pretty snazzy, what filter did you use and how big is it, you also did a neat job on the wheels, I did mine with the same paint About 6 months ago, turned out a treat.

Nice work! I have VE commodore as well for company car. Its amazing how big the boot! you can almost fit a mx5 in there
