I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that! There is one photo where they look like gauges ... I had to do more than one double take.

I doubt it - they would rattle around too much. I also thought maybe drink can holders but would you want them up there on the dash?

Cup-holders, you can find heaps of weird ones at some jap parts stores. Dash is usually te only place you can fit them without knocking them every time you change gear
