Why?????????

Unless you have a BIG turbo, your exhaust is actually reducing power (as well as probably sounding sh!te). Read up on EGV in the tech archives...

Other than that, good on you for going for a look and making it happen. How do you find the HKS coilovers?

Thanks Boags.

I am actually not quite sure the size of the exhaust.
I assume its 3 inch because it used to be a turbo and it sounds quite loud. Could be 2.5 need to meaure it up. I know its not good to lose back pressure in na engins. Oh it sounds alright too

I found the hks hippermax to be great. On the sofest seting its actully ok for daily driving. the rear end bottom out some time tho. Then again I don't have any experiance with other coilovers so what do I know.

Ahh; it used to be turbo. That explains it. Seriously though, read the thread in the tech archives: HERE.

Back pressure is bad; too big is also bad. It is a long read, but well worth it. :D

had a looking this afternoon.

the exhaust pipe dia is actually quite small. more like 2.5 if now 2 inch

its just the rear muffler is 3 or 2.5 inch where it is than tapered to connect to the middle pipe.
