Max

Max started her life as a stock 91 NA16, long before I found her in September 1999.
When I did, she'd had a couple of minor mods - new wheels, and a cutout in the driver's seat for a harness.....
The first thing was new suspension (koni & kings) and wheels...
Then came the performance upgrades - the full Loch Stewart , with a bit of bling...
Over the years since, I did things like stereo install including subs behind the seats,
installing a cat...
Body kit...
RB Type II
RB Type I
Stylebar (Made by Ryan)
and little personalisations like clear indicators/corner reflectors all round..... and clear taillights.
Then in 2006, I got engaged, and I got real bling.
And an exhaust made by Ryan.....
I did the install myself, with help from LM, OMY005, JBT, and a host of others like Jules, if you include doing things like my own clutch install, brake (slotted discs) upgrade, clutch servicing, etc etc etc.
Max suffered an unfortunate maintenance mishap this year......
so she received a replacement heart, but the bolt on bling is well and truly in place..... with some additions by way of a coolant reroute pipe.
So anyway - that's Max. The product of 7 years of stupidity and spending , with more experimentation to come I am sure. It's a learning process. You build, you learn, you learn, you build.
