You are correct, either that or you will spin your hubs.

Maybe not 8k but you can launch it in the powerband and not bog down

Check this guy out, car has done 11.999 on an internally stock mx with stock 5 speed and a torsen quite impressive

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Evos, WRXs, FD RX7's, GTRs, all whupped by "a hairdresser's car", how will they ever live that down :P

Congratulations Charlie - you've heard it before, and I'll say it again, you've built a great car there and this is further unbiased recognition.

Thanks guys :)

Update:

Not much has been happening on the car itself.. Just been driving it around a lot more then i usually would. Its been fun :)

Also got voted No.1 street car by the Blog The Lowdown which is awesome considering the cars that i beat to take that spot.

Heres the pic.

Its cool when this sort of stuff happens.. Like there are a lot of cool cars especially the Evo and Gtr but yet they still got beaten by a little homo mobile :p

"It’s not based on anything else, and it’s not modified with thousands of off the shelf parts." was the biggest factor IMO. It's easy to just add off-the-shelf-ready-made parts but pioneering your own build because existing kits don't exist is definitely an added level of difficulty (and awesome when you pull it off).

Sooo saturday i went out to a meet to chill for a bit and advertise that my car is for sale etc. Was good fun. Drove there and back no issues which is always nice. Got a couple of cool pics too.

Monday came and it was time for the first track day of the year :D. Was good fun. Ended the day with a pb of 59.7 which i didnt think i would do on these tires but stoked that i did. No issues as well and drove awesome all day.

This is a cool pic of the car parked next to me. Was so clean and stock. Like beauty and the beast haha :p
