Should be there Saturday Charlie unless I go to Gatton - have to get the personal plates to the Dealer and I am away the week after until New Year
Did you see the times from MX5 Day last week? Could not believe how fast that NA of Tim's was going!!
I'm thinking Lakeside will win over for me

Re: charlie's na6
Quick update.
Lakeside was a blast. Car ran sensational. Finished with a 1.00.088. So close to that illusive sub 60. Plenty more in it. I think 4.1 diff gears will be perfect for this car. Hitting limiter in 5th coming down the hill into hungry and in 6th just after the kink. Car is crazy fast ATM

Was up at the 'Bus Stop' with Ross from www.trackphotos.com.au and you looked awesome coming down thru there under the bridge - I got you at 1.00:00 and also quite a few very low 60's
Well done!! The car looked and sounded fantastic!!
Stayed for the afternoon session and was great to watch James in the ex 'RWF' NA 2F running hard against Mark in the GTS86 - both ended the day with 1.04's

Re: charlie's na6
Update:
So decided to go out to lakeside for the last time attack event of the year. I bought some 2nd hand nt01's during the week from a forum member and put them on for this event. First time driving on semis so it was a new experience for me.
Driving out there the weather looked grim. Wasnt feeling great knowing the tires i was on haha Thankfully it passed and it turned out to be a great day.
First session out was good. Getting use to the tires, setting pressures and trying to keep out of traffic was the main part. Everything felt good, tires were really grippy and game me a lot of confidence. As the day went on i was slowing getting faster and more consistant with a string of 60.XX which was good to see. Last session was the best though. I was able to hold flat through the kink and almost hitting limiter in 6th just before the braking zone. Back section needs a little work and unfortunately gearing is making me hit limiter just under the bridge so i would like to step back to 4.1's i think.
Overall i had a blast, being in the top group was awesome and following the radical in the last session was too cool Stoked to finish the day with a 60.088. So damn close to 59second mark but ill get there eventually.
Heres a pic on track from Cooper.
Incar vid chasing down that radical before he got the better of me in the final laps

Packed the car up and drove it home. Couldnt have wished for a better day

Glad you've ironed out the bugs and you can simply enjoy driving your car.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I would love to see your corner speed against say, Rob Gooley's evo. His PB is a 54.71 on full slicks with low fuel weight and no passenger seat, but incar footage makes it look like you guys take certain corners at about the same speed. Get a VBox or something so we can see it all :p
