Yes, I have the CarboTech XP8's on my car and get no fade at the track at all but then I am not going as fast as you will be !

I've got a set of new and a set of bedded EBC Yellows that I could probably get taken down to you.
Bedded ones should be OK after just a few laps to settle them to your discs.
New ones probably not a good idea because they'll need a real good bedding.

Hi Sailor, so awesome of you to offer, but I have some Carbotechs on order so I'll wait for them. Thanks again!

As for Sunday, I think my brakes should be OK although I might be one of those guys who does a few laps for show and then spends the rest of the day with the bonnet up before leaving early  But seriously, I won't be pushing it to the limit all day, especially with the brakes as they are.

Daniel Deckers spent time tweaking my car today, including fixing a huge crack we found in the midpipe resonator. So that's gotta be worth a few more HP

Thanks, I got up to just over 160kmh, but you could push it further, I just don't have the balls to go faster. Need to turn the car over to a tame racing driver to see what it can really do...

Tim, I have a brand new set of XP8's here at Waverton if you want to throw them in today and then replace them with yours when they come. They will squeel like a Tie fighter for a week but will stop you bigtime. there's probably enough hours in the day to still get them in if you want.. You WILL have to bed them in though

So that's why he didn't answer the phone.

not unhappy with 1:13.55 considering I only got 4 laps all day, and the first two was just getting the tyres warm (they never really were, but everyone found it slippery in the morning).

The problem is a short on the ECU power supply. I recently had some security enhancements so will need to investigate.

Many, many thanks to everyone for all the support and assistance to try to get me going again.
