Re: the soft red, flaired sunken mx5
I'm surprised they said that, as far as I know only the na8 shafts (aside from nb shafts obviously) can be used with the nb8a diffs. Nik knows more about this than me, but there is a difference between the na8 and nb shafts apparently.

1.6 and 1.8 driveshafts arent interchangeable.
Theres ..
1.6 diff- 1.6 driveshafts
1.8 diff - 1.8 2 piece shafts (stub+shaft) and 1.8 1 piece shafts, interchangeable
SE turbo diff+ shafts, different spline count.

Dann is correct.
The 1.6 shafts are equal in length where the later ones use one small one large

also i got drive shafts last night from Almaz and also i got some stock white mirrors of Jace so those will be painted black then put on to replace the Shrek ears i had before.
I thought superlite GTR wheels, which is what they look to me like, were illegal on mainroads? apparently there for race use only?

A lot of wheels are 'for offroad use only' for legal reasons

Should have removed the hubs.
I suggest doing it this way to get it back in.

Re: the soft red, flaired sunken mx5
There was no need to remove completely. was quite easy to get out this way. and also other diff is in the car all it needs is drive shafts. so next Saturday should be a big day putting in replacement drive shaft. tie rod ends and upper control arms. also window regulater. also bleed braces and book in road worthy first inspection:-) god i cant wait to not have to drive the beloved volvo. sorry for all the typos etc its very hard to go back and edit on my phone.

this is the site i will be getting the wheels from. I have not read anywhere that there not suitable for street use.
I will miss the volvo it is nice to have a car you don't care about but you still love. also having roof racks and a boot is nice and 5 seats but, but where i live we already have a family car (Nissan micra ke11)
