well first time on the track yesterday

day went well very happy with the way the car all work out

first time driving on r888 and race brakes pads

have to learn to trust them more lol

still some time in the car, i will fine as still getting used to it

pb for the day 1:06.5 lakeside

after running the car at queensland raceway in december and the temp gauge say it was hot

it was time to up grade the gauge's in the car and setup a better center cosole in the car

very happy with the look of it
have up graded the window switch to toggle switchs and the heater and fan are on a switch and also setup the old ac raditor fan on a switch if it starts to get hot

so off to lakeside on sunday the 20th for my first race looking forward to it

You will want to take that filthy stinking disgusting useless ciggy lighter and throw it to the shithouse(guess who's a reformed smoker) so that it doesn't fall out and roll around the floor.

Cause someone can tell ya that it will end up under the pedals and that can get real nasty

well time to put a roll cage in the car

racing has been going well, but had the boys at qr tell be to get a real rollbar, as the street ones wont do a thing for you if you did roll

so missed out on racing this weekend but do go out to lakeside for a look on saturday great racing too watch as always

so spent the day today pulling dash out and any thing left in the car
going to save on weight with the stuff that was behind the dash that wont go back

will take the car to get rollcage fitted tomorrow so will post up some photos when i get it back

Good to see you got in and removed all those unnecessaries. Must have been the weekend to work on the cars as i investigated my fuel surge problem and am in the process of fixing that. You'll have to let us know where you got the cage done and $$$ because i wanna do the same thing. Are you coming out for the MX day at QR? Hopefully you are AND its dry!

its only three weeks away

car should be back in one to two weeks if all goes well then put it all back together

if its not ready to run ill come out and say hi anyway

ill give you price and what not when i pick her up
i have heard this guy does great work with cages so look forward to seeing his work

cant wait to drive the new much stiffer mx5

well i went and picked up the race car today

very happy with the cage looks great and much safer for racing too
