How have you set that up? Did you remove the entire factory airbox and intake pipe?

Got a pic?

Pulled the factory airbox off, and attached a small K&N filter directly to the afm. It is cable tied to the strut brace at the moment, as I wanted to see if it was worth it or not, before making up a bracket and sheild etc.

I'll continue to update, and yes there will be many pics haha.

You mean you kept the long plastic noodle from the turbo to the MAF!!

Glad to be of an inspiration for this mod.

This is gold. 8)

I wouldn't even consider it an "intake" either. You're just pulling the stock airbox off and shoving a pod filter on.
Illegal in nsw, and I guarantee you will loose power/response/torque.
You will gain noise.

Wow, more ignorant assumptions from Dupain. You clearly don't know anything about SEs.
How about you wait for my actual update explaining the process, before clogging up MY build thread with rubbish.

This isn't a forum for keyboard warriors or trolls, rather than antagonise someone please remind them that this is a friendly place rather than lowering the forum to their level or acting like a clique.

If you see someone being abusive use the report function built into the post and i'll look at it.

Can we let this thread get back to discussing Emily's 04 VR SE please.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Havnt got much done on this lately.
Im excellent at buying parts online, also excellent at procrastinating their installs :/

A few odd bits and bobs however were accomplished.

Replaced oxidised wiper arms with OEM JDM NA6 wiper arms that have a cute spoiler, perfect place for a sticker (jap car club membership).
Also replaced wiper blades with genuine Bosch Aerotwin units, and they are fantastic.

Spark plugs were due, so got the NGK laser iridium (IFR5T-8N). Also got the 8.5mm Magnecor silicone leads.

Image

All installed with my M2-1002 roadster oil cap 8)

Image

Installed my Nopro washer bottle relocation too, gives me a bit more room in the engine bay whilst still looking very oem.

Image

Just a little tidy up of the interior, ARC Titan gearknob, new leather shiftboot, and some replacement SE floor mats as the originals were missing.

And these just arrived last week from Japan
16x7 +35 Buddyclub P1 (original design) in metallic gunmetal grey.

Huge fan of the Aerotwins too.

Looking forward to seeing those wheels fitted.
