Now that your interior appears to be finished what do you have planned next?

I haven't really finish the interior, I just stopped for a bit so I can invest the money in the engine bay. I am waiting a quote for a set of 4 wheels too. Then I am thinking to purchase the Flyin'miata turbo. If I have extra money left I will go back to the interior and change the steering wheel and gauges on the cluster. And when I have a bit more money, I will do the dash flocking and purchase the carbon fibre door panel, because my OEM one is broken by the seat belt already. At the end I will be changing the exterior, such as chrome headlights, clear tail lights and bodykits.

Just ordered some carbon fibre wrap from ebay. Due previous bad experience, this time I have checked very carefully and it is truly 3M brand, not some replica. The replica didn't last longer than 1 month, so if you would like to get the best result and save the future works then pay a bit more for the real stuff.

I am going to use the carbon fibre wrap to wrap the lower dash part. Which is below all the air vents. Due to the age and careless, there are quiet a few area got scratched and damaged. I did think about to repaint the whole dash board. But it seems like it cost much more and need more works. So for better result and long lasting, I chose carbon fibre wrap.

I was thinking to wrap the dash by professional, however it is far to expensive than even repaint. It cost more than $1000. So I decided that I should do it by myself. After searching a few videos on youtube, I believed I have know the best way to do it, now I just need to wait for the carbon wrap to be received then I can start my project.

I will upload all the steps and pictures during the process and hopefully I do remember to do it (you know sometimes when you started something you just forgot the miror things like taking pictures of the process).

And hopefully I can receive the carbon wrap within this week so I can start, I just can't wait :D

Finally my carbon fibre wrap received yesterday and I tried to put it on today.

However, it just failed...

The main reason it failed is because the dash have many difficult area, so it is almost impossible to use one piece of wrap to wrap the whole dash. So I will just leave it for a while until I found a better way to wrap it.

Spectra chrome Australia (6305 0161) now do hydro dipping in WA. Then can put a carbon fibre finish on almost any intricate shape. - just reading article in Perth street car mag.

No affiliation.

Just drove through RBT after gym on Orrong road like 5mins ago... And of cause I passed the test but the cops wasn't happy with my neon lights. He said that I am not allow to have BLUE neon lights on my car, because it is for emergency units use. Which is funny, because every Friday I saw lots of limo with their BLUE neon lights on the street and their limo even much taller than my car, which mean their BLUE neno lights are visible. I just did a few research and none of them said that red and blue are illegal, the restriction is all the lights have to be underneath the car and it shouldn't be visible. I have printed out the paper from the GOV website and put in my glove box. Next time I will show it to them.

Removed all the underbody lights. Some people suggested that purple looks good but I prefer not have any if I cannot have blue.

The wheels look interesting!
Have you got an image of the other side of the wheel?
Is it a painted or polished face?

My guess is these are the ones that look similar to the Volk CE28s?

That is light for a 15x8...12.4lbs = 5.6kg. Why didn't you buy them from Singapore?

Yup, that's the one.

I had them on a Hyundai Matrix (Lavita) when I was in Singapore years ago. They're a pretty decent wheel. Should consider them again when i want 15x8s...and get them shipped from Singapore, haha!

Nice Tesco! I'm in a similar boat.
I plan on getting the bronze Konig Wideopens (15x8 25mm) from Goodwin. I've been asking around and it looks like only Goodwin get that colour and offset.

Currently waiting for Shipporter to get back to me re: quote.
(Ship be sea service where you pay for part of a sea container - should be ~$150-$200)

How are you shipping them?

Except for the neons, I'm liking where this is going. Well done!

Neon is just the way to make the car different and stand out, I don't see what is the problem, beside it is legal. Having neon is better than someone accelerate on purpose with their turbo/high output engine, or some idiot changed a hugh exhaust just for sound.

Those wheels are coming from U.S.A by boat. They are polished face. Compare them to the painted one is lighter. I bought them from good win racing and they don't ship anything to AUS. Basically I need to get a friend of mine to receive them first then ship them to me. Wheels, nuts, rings and shipping cost around 900-1000 in total. It is much cheaper than advan wheels and other brand.

At the moment I only have these pictures. I will post more once I received and installed.
