Red devil (aka Eren) has Yellowspeeds in his car, he loves the coils but has said time and time again how the rear is at its max and still kinda high, just an observation you would require considering. I'm sure he would be happy to show you, he has a na6 aswell.

Don't stress about the height. I have yellow speed premium competition and have spoken to suspension and alignment specialists about getting them lower without adjusting the preload, it can be done and I'll let you know how it goes when I get mine done.

HJT, the normal yellow speed's go very low... It's only the Premium competition ones you're thinking of which you need to play with. You can get them lower (about - another 20mm) without affecting the preload... and get them very low with minimal effect to the preload. It has nothing to do with the valving.
Stoogey, the normal Yellow Speeds are a good set up and I think you'd be happy with them and the height adjustment you'll get.. If you want to go really low with the Premium Comps then you'll have to get someone to play with them a bit..

At the end of the day, it's budget and intended purpose that is all you need to consider.
some spring shox combos shouldn't be discounted either!

Those equips are tits. I'm jealous.
Sorry for whoring, but this is as low as the rear base height adjustment will go on the YSR 'pro-sport' ones

I've wound the spring perch down probably 15-20mm since and it rides much poo-ier, i'll probably raise it back up.

Excellent!
Thanks for the information guys, good to know the differences and limitations of the different types of yellowspeeds.
hjt, i have definitely considered a shock and spring combo too but i like the idea of having height/damper adjustability and also the idea of track days has always sat in the back of my mind as well.
Jace, i've always had a soft spot for watanabes as well so dw, i get abit jealous whenever i see them sitting so nicely on other peoples rides. Appreciate the ride height picture.
Hmm, may have to find some time next week and head off for a quick trip to mania, im still in need of little minor things like shift boots and whatnot....if only there was another yellowspeed gb

Guards are rolled. Ready for future lowness
Also got some new toys to play around with.

Yellowspeeds are definitely on the books now, just gotta sort out money and find some time to get them fitted (why? cause im a lazy bastard with no time)

Nice! I'm guessing you kept your stock rails for it? It's so much harder with the roof on!

Yeah mate, was easier then i thought.
5 minutes with an 8mm drill bit and my cordless it was all done.
On an entirely different note...

We know how to spell it, anyway. Forgive me if this sounds ignorant, but how on Earth do you pronounce Huynh?
