I love it when the fixes are simple and not particularly expensive! :D Time for another track day me thinks!

Hi Jaron, my rear muffler is the NPower item. I will be developing bolt on exhaust system kits using NPower products over the next couple of months.

Yep, that was a cheap fix (especially with a little help from Tim  ) It could have bene really expensive though, I passed a speed trap on the way around my test drive. I must have been behaving myself, I guess.

Next thing is a new radiator. Had a close look at the top tank on mine and it resembles an out of date easter egg. Dark brown but with lighter blotches and the starts of cracks all through the top tank.

Maybe a 40mm cooling pro? Any advice?

The exhaust is rather loud now that it has about 30% more gas flowing through it!

Bring on the track days!

No particular advice on brand as most seem to have their act together now. However, I wouldn't go any thicker than 40mm to ensure the ambient air-flow doesn't find it too hard to make its way through the fins.

Danny

Cooling-Pro radiator now installed. I have put a post in the Cooling Pro thread detailing the install.

Rad is 42mm thick two-core 14 fins per inch.

nice work Mokesta, now you can start saving for an intercooler?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

My intercooler designer is:

building a race car
putting a v8 into a torana
about to become a dad again
running a busy and successful business
not putting one on his car

So my chances of installing and IC are pretty slim.

I got my CF hard top today. I sold the factory red one a few weeks ago and now have this one to replace it:

It weighs next to nothing, unlike the factory one.

More pics in the thread about these tops in the For Sale section.

I hope to get it on the car on the weekend.

It's on! With the soft top out and OEM hard top swapped for the Lightyear version, I've taken about 35 kg out of the top of the car! (and about 5 out of me since June). Should help my times next track day.

The shed is slowly getting there. I've nearly sorted the big shelves. After I paint the rest of the floor I'll arrange the smaller shelves, tools, power etc so the 5 can finally get the attention it needs. (like the flywheel & clutch I've had for 6 months)
