I’m definitely not going to make the 13th. I’ve sold my GWR header and the new one won’t be here til the 15th.

The Tomei. It looks like the narrowest of the "performance" headers so I can get the most clearance to the steering column. The Racing Beat one also looks narrower than the GWR.
I don't know why my GWR headers touched the column, it seems it's quite rare but I couldn't risk it.

Great minds :D

I now have a set of RX7 wheels on n 16x8 shod with Khumo V710’s. They weigh in at 14.6kg so are 1.2kg lighter than the Enkei/Nitto set up FWIW.

Interesting (well to me at least ) the set of RX7 wheels came as a pair of lightweight ones and a pair of the reinforced ones.
I’d only weighed the lightweight ones so I just got the scales out again and the reinforced ones weigh 15.4kg.
I’ll stick the lighter ones up front.

Haha only joking, was fitting new brake discs and pads to the suv and thought the wheels looked huge next to the MX5.
Interesting the discs were 350mm grooved and dimpled but only cost $187, makes the prices we pay for tiny discs look a right rip off!

Anyway, some fun stuff turned up!

Just fitting the new exhaust system and thought I’d weigh the oem muffler. Interesting that it weighs almost exactly the same os the RoadsterSport one at 12kg, considering the size difference!
